you again after all these years. I was so happy to finally see every one of you again. I will never forget the time we shared for the rest of my life. It's memories I will always cherish deep inside of my heart. I never realized how much impact this reunion would have on me. It is because of you my fellow batchmates. The bond of friendship we share and the spirit of DA AWESOME CLASS OF 74 made this reunion so very, very enjoyable and unforgetable. My husband really enjoyed himself and told me he could see the happiness in everyone's face. I have to agree. I did not look forward to saying "Goodbye". I wanted the reunion to continue (for at least another week : )) |

MAnny &I really appreciates all of your compliments.But then again we would never make this happened without all of your love & support. I would like to thank EACH and EVERYONE and especially all the spouses and husband who hang in there for us. I especially thank my husband who never did complain when I told him he can't go so I can spend more time with you guys. In fact, 3 days before we were leaving he was telling me that he will join me on Thursday and Friday and will leave Saturday morning but I told him it's not a good idea cause I will be very busy and won't be able to spend time with him. He was a little disappointed but he didn't mind but My Father-in law did mind when he found out I was going to VEgas without Steve. Meng---- YOU ARE THE BEST...... I REALLY DID FEEL DIZZY JUST BY WATCHING YOU DO EVERYTHING. JV- Mr. President--- A WELL DESERVED THANK YOU. YES--- WE DID IT!! |

It's Monday morning after our reunion --- am I just dreaming or what???? Is our high school reunion really over? I thank God that I was given the chance to see you all --- I had sooooo much fun seeing all your faces. It was really an autumn night to remember for me and I just hope you had a good time too.
Angie, Lilibeth and I made it home in 9 hours although we scared ourselves a little BIT at "old hwy. 58" (like a ghost town), but aside from that we were brave with your prayers and concern! I was the last stop ---- so when I got home my (2) boys were already sleeping. When I finally went to bed Greg woke up and of course I can't stop sharing some of our fun time at the reunion. He's happy for us. I'll meet him after work today to return the rental car, so Angie just rest after work today and enjoy your Pink Floyd concert tomorrow night. You are such a good driver and I thank you so much for always letting me sleep on our trip. You are a BEST FRIEND and I love you.
I know some of you guys are still in Vegas or on your way home ---- but I want you to know that I'm praying for your safe return to all your home-sweet-homes. I'm still very sleepy and I think I'll go back to bed and enjoy a magmuni-muni of all the things we did on our weekend reunion before I unpack ...... and I'll write more later potang enaku masyadung "hyper" okay.

It's almost been a week after, what a wonderful and enjoyable weekend with our friends and batch mates, most of them we have not seen for the last 32 years. Jimmy , Meng , Angie and Manny thank you for making it happened. We appreciate and love the message of Kong/Sir Rick V., why not, imagine getting or compiling his thoughts for the last nine months!. We will heed to your advice. Again ,not to forget to acknowledge Luz Velasquez, Greg Ward, Steve Holland, Emily Salunga, Alex David, Ayalon Lingat, Ding Cervantes and Mirriam’s hubby ( thank you for letting Tess and Miiriam to come here), Jun Estacio, Tom Williams, Glen Kato( who took our beautiful pictures), Susan Cruz and the her 2 sons , Roland Jacinto and Allan Nases. While driving back to Los Angeles with Dotty and Tess, all we talked was how happy we were.. We were already taking about our plan reunion in PI and how to solicit more funds for our mission. We miss those, who were not able to come for whatever reasons. Richard, we hope the best for your Dad.

I'm sure we all miss everyone after all the happenings we had this weekend. We all had a great time together after soooooo many years. Sana we always keep in touch thru the years and go for our goal in helping the deserving students of our school. Everyone look great, pretty and good looking. Mas mangalagu and pogi lapa ngeni kesa when we were in hi-school. It was nice to see everyone. Thank u sooo much to Jim, Manny, Meng and Angie for all the effort u have given to make this re-union an "Affair to Remember" and to everyone, salamat keng anggang supporta yu. I would like to thank all of you for coming to attend our re-union. The event is not just for raising funds but to have bonding that money can never buy. Our friendship is the most important and I'm blessed to have friends like you.
I would like to thank you Meng,Angie,JV,Manny,Melvin,Lenny and Debbie for the efforts and hard work. Our program was very entertaining the Dance, the songs from Carlyn Lusung Kato and Carlyn Dela Cruz. the speech of Mr. Ric Velasquez as well as our Mr. President. All of us are all Dancing Queens and Dancing Kings ( Ala lang sinabi reng DI). Angie, the food was great, the preparations of the re-union was excellent.Lilibeth my best friend, was hilarious and all of you are the best. Of course I would like to thank Tess and Miriam for joining us.For those who were not able to attend our re-union, I missed all of you. I know i will see you on our next re-union.

What a wonderful time I (we) had this weekend! Words cannot express the joy of seeing each one of you. I am blessed to be a part of this Awesome group of people! I, too, find myself day dreaming, reminiscing and thinking about what we experienced this weekend. I wish I could bring it back one more time! I'm so happy to be back home but still can't believe that after a looooong wait our reunion was over.... as Carline said: "it seems it just came in a flash". I hope I will be able to receive all the videos and pictures in DVD form so I can have them edited and put all together for viewing.
Dottie: it's been a long time since we last met... 1994. I'm just soooooo happy we had the chance to sleep together in Ating Cely's house in Torrance to prolong our bonding. I thought we were already tired after so many nights of very short sleep before the reunion but no.... we still hanged around and had chit-chat up to about 4am I guess. ha ha ha . I even discovered AIRBORNE because of you. It was fun being with you as usual. Please extend my thanks to Ating Cely for letting us sleep in the "presidential suite". I had no chance to thank her as she was not around when I left. Again thanks to you and Ating Deth-Deth, and Alvin for bringing to the airport. Hope I will be able to see the pictures you shoot Melvin and Lenny: Thanks for accomodating us in your home that Wednesday night before our reunion on our way to Las Vegas. Thanks also for the sumptious food and the food we brought so we have something to eat in our house in Vegas. Also for the wonderful ride to LA from Vegas. You are such a wonderful couple. Lenny you were already tired the whole day preparing for our dinner but you refused to sleep early just to have fun and talk with us up to maybe 4am. Thanks for the nice gifts bageng bage ke itang sweater you gave me.
Lilibeth: You were sooooooo much fun to be with. I really missed you during the night with Freddie and Ayalon. Thanks for the company ad the sexy gift you gave me. I am going to wear it when I am ready but I already showed it to my husband so he has something to look forward to 1 night he he he
Alex and Sonia: You are right my stay with you in the East Coast made me know you better. You were full of warmth and love. NAGLALAGAVLOVE. Your family also welcomed me. Marie is accomodating and also Russel, your sister in law. I enjoyed my short stay with her. She is such a good cook and an orderly person. I am happy that your children enjoyed me as much as I enjoyed being with them. I also had fun with Chelsea. she's a smart girl. Please give my regards to them. Hope I can also return the favor when you come here. I can never forget my stay with you. What with those experiences we had .......Union Station, 911...pssssst
 Thnaks so much for being such a good couple, patiently touring me around and a lot more...... and also for the nice bag you gave me. What more can I ask for from friends like you. Mayap na mu eku metaba ... with all those non - stop rich tasting and hearty meals you treated me with and prepared,... pareho kayung biyasang maglutu. Jimmy: Thanks a lot for fetching me at the airport and bringing us to the airport with Angie and KIm on our way back to the West. It's heartwarming to know that you did not leave the airport until you were sure we already checked in. You were much more than a great tourist guide. It's nice to have a friend like you. Sana pin I will be able to attend your 50th birthday. Please extend my thanks to Luz for the nice gift and the good food she prepared for us. Maski na she is so busy she still managed to find time to entertain and be with us. I'm glad you now enjoy dancing that is a good exercise. Lilian and Alan: What a sweet couple you are. Though we were already tired after the trip from the East coast we still decided to push thru with the reception dinner in your home and we were just glad we did. The HOUSE WAS GOOD the FOOD WAS GREAT and the COMPANY WAS EVEN GREATER. Alan you were just like 1 of us. As Meng said you are OFFICIALLY an AWESOMER now.
Don't miss our reunion in 2008. Thanks also for the nice gifts.Freddie and Ayalon: I enjoyed every minute with you guys. I could see how much you love and adore each other. Freddie you were full of humor and don't seem to cross. Your welcoming attitude is indescribable. I became emotional seeing you with Angie and Meng when you sent me of at the airport. Yes... we ate a lot at the Hokkaido restaurant, even while I was talking with Jimmy and my sister Donna over the cell phone.
Angie: i adore you for your sweet smile and for being soft spoken. I also love your driivng skills. WOW!!! men will be ashamed and can't say BABAE KASI KAYA GANYAN SIYANG MAG DRIVE. Sabi ng Ding mas malagu ka kanu ngeni than before. Please give my regards to Steve, Kimmy and Edward.
Meng: You are incomparable. You are full of energy and love. You are a selfless person. We have so many things to do but so little time. Now it's Greg and Matt's time with you. Kindly tell Greg how much I appreciate his concern.
Angie and Meng: Words can't express how I am grateful for your love, concern and care. You spoiled me no end. Thank God for giving me friends like you. What a blessing....I am looking forward to our next meeting.
